John Ritter’s portrait has been added to the ‘Portrait of Hollywood’ mural at Hollywood High School in CA. His widow actress Amy Yasbeck, Jimmy Kimmel, and muralist Eloy Torrez were in attendance at the dedication ceremony on Friday. Jurors in a Los Angeles suburb have cleared two doctors of negligence in the death of actor John Ritter. By a vote of 9-3 vote, the jury decided the cardiologist and radiologist were not negligent for not discovering that Ritter had a torn aorta in his heart. Evidence shows that another doctor who performed a body scan on Ritter two years prior to his death suggested a follow-up with treatment by a physician, but Ritter didn't follow through.
