Andie MacDowell

Andie MacDowell (born April 21, 1958) is an American actress and former fashion model. Raised in Gaffney, South Carolina, MacDowell shot to fame when she appeared in ad campaigns for Yves Saint Laurent and Armani. She became a household name after her winning performance in Steven Soderbergh's "Sex, Lies, and Videotape." She has also been in "Groundhog Day" and "Four Weddings and a Funeral." Andie MacDowell Talks Stripping Down for Lifetime Movies

Andie MacDowell is starring in two Lifetime movies airing next year, but don't expect to see her playing it safe as America's sweetheart. The 51-year-old actress steps out of her comfort zone for the films At Risk and The Front, even losing some clothes for the roles.

Andie is a spokesperson for L'Oreal.
She said, "I play a real bi**h, I was a narcissistic sex addict and had to sleep with young men. But it was embarrassing because I’m pretty shy and yet I had to look at myself in the mirror and take my clothes off …"

Even though she's older than most Hollywood starlets of today, MacDowell isn't giving up on her acting career. She said, "We live in a society that sees getting older in a certain way, but I keep trying to tell myself of my value and my worth. I’m really comfortable with my age, I’m 51 and I have no shame about that whatsoever and I’m really comfortable in my skin."
