ATP chairman Adam Helfant says the tour will not reopen a doping case against Andre Agassi even though he admitted to lying about using crystal meth in 1997. Agassi revealed in his recent autobiography that he failed a 1997 drug test, a result he says was thrown out after he lied by claiming he "unwittingly" took crystal meth. The World Anti-Doping Agency has asked tennis to investigate Andre Agassi's admission that he took crystal meth in 1997. WADA director general David Howman would not elaborate on what he wrote in the letter sent to the ATP, but he told The Associated Press he hopes it "would bring a considered response."
