Andre Villas-Boas insists he retains the full backing of Roman Abramovich.
The Chelsea boss admitted it’s good that the billionaire is in such close contact with the team and not detached from the everyday running of the team.
“[Roman Abramovich] watching training had a good impact,” he said.
“We spoke about the preparation for the game [against Manchester United]. Roman is always very interested about the running of events and it was good for the team to feel his presence.”
“We touched a little bit, of course, on next year’s project but mainly on the [Manchester United] game the day after.
“Roman is a very dedicated person to the cause of Chelsea football club, his aura is always present.”
