(Getty Images)more pics »Andrea Fischbacher of Austria took the gold in the women's Super-G today, after she knocked US skier Lindsey Vonn out of the top spot. Vonn got the bronze, while Tina Maze of Slovenia got the silver in the event. It was a tough course, and a very close race.

The course seemed like a big challenge for the ladies. Of the first 11 skiers, only 6 of them successfully made it to the finish without wiping out. Canadian hopeful Emily Brydon crashed, but was not hurt. That finished off her Olympics, however.

Vonn has already won a Gold Medal at the games, and still has a few chances to grab another gold medal, but it don't be today.
Julie Mancuso was the first woman down the hill today, and she kept the lead for a while, but now is also out of medal contention. It's been a tough day for the US ladies, that's for sure.
