French driver Franck Montagny will make his IndyCar Series debut next week at the Indy Grand Prix of Sonoma in a fifth car entered by the Andretti Green Racing Team. Team officials announced Tuesday that the 31-year-old Frenchman would be added to the lineup for the road course event. Montagny passed his IndyCar road-course licensing test last year at Sebring. "I am certainly looking forward to my IndyCar debut," Montagny said. "I was able to test one of the team's cars last year and very... Read Full Story
Michael Andretti's jobs keep getting more complex. He's already the co-owner of the only four-car team in the IndyCar Series. He's promoting two races this season. He will be on Danica Patrick's radio when the Indy Racing League season opens and he will spend the next several months, perhaps longer, answering those incessant questions about the future of Patrick at Andretti Green Racing. "I think we all know what we need to do with Danica, she knows what she needs to do, and we're hoping... Read Full Story
Another Indy, another way for the Andretti curse to strike. Sunday's Indianapolis 500 had barely started when Marco Moraes drifted to the outside and made contact with Marco Andretti, sending both cars into the wall going into the second turn. Not even one lap and done. "The kid doesn't get it, and he never will," Andretti said, blaming Moraes for the crash. "He's just clueless out there." When a TV crew told Moraes what Andretti had to say, Moraes was visibly upset. "I know that he hit me... Read Full Story

This posting was on ebay motors, I thought it was a little odd that it's listed as a convertible, although, it clearly has no top. It is listed as a manual 4 speed convertible, no warranty, and a clean title. The year is 1986 with a vin of 0000000000000000, however, you can get a car fax report on it using vin 86-025. Interesting, and a steal at 59k, but if I'm going to pay that much it better come with the top! This 1986 March 86C CART Indy Car is considered to be one of the most historic... Read Full Story
TORONTO (Reuters) - A move to NASCAR could bear fruit for Danica Patrick, but the punishing stock car schedule may not appeal to motor sport's best known woman driver, according to Indy car team owner Michael Andretti. "Physically those cars are easier to drive than our cars," the Andretti Green Racing (AGR) co-owner told Reuters on Thursday, while in Toronto to promote next month's Honda Indy which he owns. "From that standpoint that won't be a problem. "I think the bigger thing for her is... Read Full Story
