Remember the first time you heard “Party Hard”? Chances are you were repulsed at first, but upon further listens, intentional or not, admit that you became a fan, whether publicly or not.

“Party Hard” was one out of 12 tracks that made up Andrew W.K.‘s glorious 2001 debut, “I Get Wet,” and now the time has come for the man who brought unapologetic, smash-your-face-against-the-wall, celebration into your life, to commemorate the record that made him famous.

While I’ve said before in a previous post concerning Dinosaur Jr playing “Bug” in its entirety, I’m not the biggest fan of tours that feature artists playing classic albums in their entirety, “I Get Wet” seems like the perfect example of what should be considered an exception to the rule. The whole record is designed like an insane concert, and to be honest, would an Andrew W.K. audience really be dissapointed that they didn’t hear anything from “The Wolf”?

The “I Get Wet” tour will be kicking off in Vancouver in March before finishing up in Glasgow a month later. Check out the dates below along with the video for one of “I Get Wet”‘s more tender moments, “She is Beautiful.”
