Rovio to make more money with Facebook Angry Birds as you win
Angry Birds developer Rovio is busy trying business models after launching the most wanted game on Facebook recently. Users of the social network need to pay $1 for a mobile download. Rovio has included four new powerups that can be bought for only $1 for twenty uses.
With the business model of in-app purchases on proceeding levels the developer could earn more average lifetime revenue with each user of Facebook, and the social giant will reap a one time money upon installation.
The first powerups is free in the classic freemium style of the Angry Birds. If you want to use it more, it will cost you more. You can purchase the Sling Scope for pinpoint targeting, Super Seeds for stronger birds, Birdquake for shaking down the precariously perched pigs, and King Sling for a velocity boost.
You can buy for $20 a total of 1000 uses of any powerups.
