Off the back of a wardrobe full of awards for We Choose the Moon, The Martin Agency has launched a campaign that relives another historical moment in real time. This time the JFK Presidential Library and Museum is encouraging people to follow John F. Kennedy on his famous presidential campaign trail, fifty years after the event, over Twitter.
Followers can learn about the campaign, read/listen to speeches and view archives, as and when they happened in 1960. Great stuff.

In the interests of showing lovely work without self-promotion I wanted to share this. You will no doubt have seen the campaign, if not read about it in the trade press, but if you haven’t seen the full case study with results it’s worth a watch. The Response element is a wonderful example of a digital campaign and uses Twitter and YouTube to great effect, but it wouldn’t have the platform for success without TV. It’s just great content enabled by the digital age…this case study should inspire anyone working in our industry.
Also, on W+K, if you haven’t seen Dan Wieden discussing the origins of Just Do It, this is a must: http://tinyurl.com/ygc4vws
