We previously reported a story about Andy Dick being well, a dick. He was accused of assaulting a man, who was believed to be a tourist visiting LaLa Land. The confrontation sparked after the man shook Andy’s hand and he noticed that the man had a camera.

Well, it turns out that the guy Andy attacked, Patrick Lockwood, is actually a Los Angelino (by way of Ohio), who was walking home and spotted the former TV star leaving a club and simply wanted to shake Andy’s hand while rolling video. Well, Mr. Dick would have none of it, probably because he values his privacy so much and certainly doesn’t want to be seen in any kind of compromising position… this week.

We’re kidding, he’s always in trouble! i.e. Andy Dick Mug shot #1, Andy Dick Mug shot #2 we could go on and on and on….

So what did Andy do once he realized that Patrick Lockwood was video taping his celebrity encounter? He grabbed him by the neck whilst demanding the camera so he could break it!

Andy held Patrick by the collar and then grabbed the chain he was wearing around his neck, which held great sentimental value to him.

Patrick was aware that Andy was intoxicated and he can clearly be heard in the video repeatedly asking Andy to let go of his neck. Even Mr. Dick’s female companion can be heard telling Andy to release Patrick Lockwood many times.

Once Andy broke the chain from around Patrick’s neck, well that’s when things got a lot more heated and the tables turned. You see, Patrick recently had to bury his best friend from childhood, his dog Widgeon. The bond between a dog and his owner is something that, as many of us know, is very special. Patrick hasn’t been the same since the passing of his dog of fifteen-years and is still in the grieving process. As a way to honor him, he kept his dog’s tags on the chain around his neck 24/7.

That’s what Andy ended up grabbing Patrick by and eventually ripping off in this drunken assault. Patrick, along with Andy’s female companion, pleaded with him to let go to no avail. Even while all this was going on Patrick can be heard being extremely calm and collected, pleading for Andy to let go of his neck. But once Andy ripped off the chain and dog’s tags that’s when Patrick turned into a very angry (and rightfully so) individual.

We commend Patrick for not beating the crap out of Andy, because while investigating this story it became clear that Patrick is someone who can take some physical punishment and dish it out as well. Back when he lived in rural Ohio he wasn’t one to walk away from a fight or even the occasional self-inflicted “jackass-style” backyard prank.

According to Patrick, it took a lot of willpower not to kick Andy’s ass. Is there anyone these days who can have some kind of encounter with Andy Dick and not want to beat the snot out of him by the end?

Currently Patrick is working in Los Angeles as a graphic designer and he also does some promotional PR work for Hollywood events. He’s a unique guy for sure. Some might even say he’s a bit of a “character,” but LA is full of those types so I’m sure he fits in just fine.

Andy, I think you should issue an apology to Mr. Lockwood and recognize that a giant famewhore like yourself shouldn’t attack your fans just because you’re wasted.

Patrick did give us the following quote which he hopes Andy responds to.

If Andy is truly sorry for his actions and regrets disrespecting me, and more importantly my best friend of 15-years, he can do the following: pay to have a headstone created in Widgeon’s honor, which I will place at his grave site back in Ohio.

I think that’s a great idea and truthfully an easy-out for the dick named Andy. People are suing one another left-and-right for even less than what Andy did and Patrick just wants a headstone for Widgeon’s grave site.

If we had our druthers (two points for using the word “druthers” in an article) we’d like to see Andy buy the headstone AND agree to a celebrity boxing match against Patrick with a Winner Takes All cash prize. You know how many people, who have wanted to knock out Andy for years, would watch?! Someone start a Facebook petition!

I’ll bet Howard Stern is good for $50k and I would venture that Jon Lovitz would match him, particularly if they got front row seats to the main event.

The entire team here at CelebGossip.com are animal lovers. In fact, we’ve got two pups running around our office today. So it’s hard not to feel sympathetic for Patrick, who gets choked up on the phone just talking about his beloved dog.
