Job Description
JOB SUMMARY

The Account Manager is the
single point of contact and Partner (customer) advocate within Hostopia for our
wholesale Partners. Virtually all
service and operational inquiries, requests and instructions from the Partner
are facilitated through the Account Manager.

The Account Manager assists the Partner in growing their hosting business by
addressing service and operational needs/concerns directly and/or indirectly by
marshalling the various resources of Hostopia to serve the Partner.

ACCOUNTABILITY

* Manage the relationships with the key contacts
of our Partners, setting mutual goals, strategy and programs
* Identify incremental service revenue
opportunities for the Partner and Hostopia utilizing knowledge and
understanding of the Partner's services and markets
* Ensures that Partners are aware
of and have the latest available product and service information in order to
assess the launching of these services
* Act as point of
contact for partner accounts including:
account interaction, developing and implementing Partner requirements
within Hostopia, reporting, handling resolution of business and technical
issues, tracking of key metrics to identify trends and highlight issues.
* Ensures the appropriate
assistance and information is provided to Partners in order to prevent or
resolve problems or perceived problems with Hostopia performance
* Become expert in Hostopia's and
Partner's services and operations in
support of above.

KEY INTERFACES

Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with:

* All team resources within Hostopia including the following departments:
Technology, Sales/Marketing, Project/Service Management, Technical Support,
Accounting, RCS
*
Key individuals and personnel within
the Partner's organizational departments including: Operations and Support, Product Management
and Marketing, Engineering and Planning

KNOWLEDGE

*
Knowledge of the how the Internet
works (Email, DNS, TCP-IP, etc.)
*
Understanding of web design and
hosting terminology and concepts
*
Solid understanding of service
provider business concepts and operations
*
Ability to use common office software
(MS Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint, etc.)

QUALIFICATIONS

*
Experience in service and/or account
management in the service provider industry
*
Excellent customer service,
communication and relationship building skills
*
Must work well under pressure and be
adept at multi-tasking and prioritizing activities
*
Must be able to excel both with
minimal supervision and within team environments
