Man Behind 'Secret Muslim' Obama Rumors Revealed

Andy Martin

By now, most people have seen the emails.
Barack Hussein Obama will NOT recite the Pledge of Allegiance nor will he show any reverence for our flag. While others place their hands over their hearts, Obama turns his back to the flag and slouches.

Let us all remain alert concerning Obama's expected presidential candidacy.

The Muslims have said they plan on destroying the US from the inside out, what better way to start than at the highest level - through the President of the United States , one of their own!!!!
Variations on that message have been disseminated far and wide ever since Barack Obama began receiving regular national attention during his 2004 senatorial campaign. According to snopes.com, the infamous emails take provocative facts (e.g.: Obama's father was a Muslim) and mix them with made up stories ("Obama was enrolled in a Wahabi school in Jakarta.")

Now, finally, the origin of those email rumors has been revealed.

Andy Martin is a very controversial figure. According to the New York Times he graduated from law school, but never passed the bar and was deemed "paranoid" and "grandiose."

Martin was thrust into the spotlight last week when he was featured as the centerpiece of a Fox News documentary-like program that portrayed Barack Obama as a secret Muslim with ties to former Weather Underground activist William Ayers. (See the video here)

More from the New York Times article:
Though he is not a lawyer, Mr. Martin went on to become a prodigious filer of lawsuits, and he made unsuccessful attempts to win public office for both parties in three states, as well as for president at least twice, in 1988 and 2000. Based in Chicago, he now identifies himself as a writer who focuses on his anti-Obama Web site and press releases.

Mr. Martin, in a series of interviews, did not dispute his influence in Obama rumors.

'Everybody uses my research as a takeoff point,' Mr. Martin said, adding, however, that some take his writings 'and exaggerate them to suit their own fantasies.'
