Astros have no interest in entering negotiations with Pettitte

Andy Pettitte isn’t likely to go back to the Astros. Houston Atsros owner, Drayton McLane stated that they are set to go into the season without him, and that they don’t plan on entering negotiations. So what does this mean for Andy?

     His only other option is really the Yankees. I don’t see him going anywhere else. The Mets? I highly doubt he would do that, but I have seen crazier things happen. This nagging process has gone long enough. Andy and the Yankees should get something done. Pitchers & Catchers report to Tampa in about 20 days….

“We’re pretty well set,” he said. “I don’t see us entering into the negotiations.”
