Health Q&A: I Iron deficiency anemia?!?

I Iron deficiency anemia?!?

You will always have the possibility to be anemic, but as long as you get enough iron, you will not anemic. The pills are iron pills that should boost it and make sure to eat foods high in iron. It’s nothing to be worried about as long as you keep iron in you.my gf is this way, take some iron pills every day (not to many but the recommended) i tried to get her to but she doesnt. all that happens to her is she is more fatigue and she gets really cold. her fingers and toes turn blue.To produce Hemoglobin, the molecule that carries oxygen in your red blood cells, you need iron. We get iron from our diets. Your anemia probably isn’t that big of a deal and you are probably only a little bit anemic (that means your hemoglobin levels are low). The capsules you got are probably iron supplements. Take those and your anemia will probably just go away. In the future, you can eat foods high in Iron like most meats, spinach, and beansanemic is easy to get rid of from what i heard. alot of pregnant women become anemic. just eat more meat like chicken, if your a veggitarian or dont really like meat (i wasnt a veggitarian but i use to not like meat lol) then look online for veggies. or fruits that have iron in them. or you can continue to take pills, which ever you like.I was born with low iron. I took vitamins as a baby but after I was a few months old I got better. When you are anemic most of the difficulties in life you would have with it is child birth. If you were to haev a baby, and anemic sometimes you might need a blood transfusion because of the risk of bleeding to much. But other than that it shouldn’t really slow you down. Just make sure to eat foods with lots of iron and make sure to not eat too many without. Make sure to keep yourself healthy! And thats really all my advice.i am anemic and all i have to do is eat proper foods to help and take iron pills. but depends how below the line u r if your not too below just enough to call u anemic then u can controll it through eatting iron riched foods. make sure if u do take iron pills ur not taking too much though. and read the side affects also they got differant amounts out their so talk to ur doctor about trying to prescribe u ferrous sulfate (Iron). Also your doctor should be able to discusse or give u a list of foods that are iron riched and if still ur doctor cant help u iron sold over the counter talk to the pharmacist and they can tell you some foods u can eat also. Nothing to worrie about too many people have it and its not dangerousHey ive been anemic since I was born and im turning 16, its really no big deal as long as you manage it. Take your iron pills everyday, eat spinach(its very high in iron), drink lots of water. Also heres a list of foods high in iron:

Iron Rich Foods
Beef, Pork, Lamb (Pick red meats that are lean)
Green Leafy Vegetables: Spinach, Asparagus, Broccoli, Collard Greens, Mustard Greens, Kale, Turnip Greens, Parsley, Cabbage
Certain fortified foods: Cereals, Oatmeal, Pasta, Rice, Grits
Liver, Tofu, Barley, Fish: Tuna Potato

Just remember to take your iron pills or else you’ll get really sick. When I don’t take mine I get extremely sleepy, headaches, cramps, and I tend to get sick alot more. And trust me the pills are alot better than the liquid or the injections(yes their is a liquid iron they give you and iron shots.) So my advice is just take the pillsI become severly anemic due to having my baby and losing too much blood after birth and had 2 blood transfutions… to make long story short, I have to take 3 iron tablets daily for 6 months. And eat beats, red meat, beans drink lots of water… u can take vitamins n more iron pills it won’t do no harm…but it can go away

I would always be weak, feel dizzy when walking far and really cold all the time…
