Swedish Women Take Curling Gold

The Swedish women, led by skip Anette Norberg, won a nail biter of a final match today against Canada, taking home Sweden's second gold medal. The match, which went to 11 ends, finally came down to stone placement, as Norberg helped with a steady hand to win it all. This was despite a heroic effort by Cheryl Bernard and the Canadian team. Vancouver, BC (Sports Network) – Sweden won its second straight Olympic gold medal in women’s curling, posting a 7-6 comeback win over Canada on Friday.
