. This hypothetical on the Republican 2012 primary made me laugh. I do think the most likely scenario, though, as said before, is that Romney will win because the Whackadoodle vote will be split. Romney will be the new McCain. And of course, nobody actually likes Romney and his vast hollow wasteland he calls a soul, just like people don’t like McCain, but he’ll win a plurality on the basis of being somehow less batshit insane than the other guys. Which is not to say that Republican primary voters are not batshit insane, it’s just that their votes are split on the precise form ... Read Full Story

Where does Obama get his money? The answer is not China in this case, but that's a good guess. Eventually, the money comes from the hard-working people of America. If that's the case, then Obama isn't the CEO nor is the government the owner of General Motors, which I have mentioned before in the past. We don't pay taxes so a tyrant known as Obama can advance his resume and increase his power. That's exactly what he is doing as he has assumed power of General Motors. General Motors doesn't belong to the government. The government doesn't and should never own anything. Just like ... Read Full Story

At last week’s Summit of the Americas, President Obama acquiesced to a 50-minute attack on America as terroristic, expansionist, and interventionist from Nicaraguan president Daniel Ortega. His response to Ortega’s denunciation of our effort to free Cuba from Castro’s dictatorship was that he shouldn’t be blamed “for things that happened when I was three months old.” Blamed? Hundreds of men, including Americans, bravely fought and died for Cuba’s freedom, heeding the call from newly elected president John F. Kennedy. But last week, even as American soldiers sacrificed blood in Afghanistan and Iraq to defend liberty, President Obama shrank from defending liberty here in the ... Read Full Story

newVideoPlayer("/Romney_Speech.flv", 506, 423,""); I always find it so unsatisfying when Democrats talk about the economy in speeches. Barack Obama's speech last week, while good, was long on pandernomics and short on the sort of basic insight into the inadequacies of the market that could actually win over people's minds. Of course, as we noted when we read that giant Times Magazin 16 Vote(s) Read Full Story

If -- and it is still a big "if" -- Democrats pass a health bill, that bill will owe as much to former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney as to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid.  In fact, with the so-called "public option" out of the Senate health bill, the final product increasingly looks like the failed Massachusetts experiment, says Michael Tanner, a Senior Fellow with the Cato Institute.Consider that the final bill will likely include:An...

Here is video of Gov. Mitt Romney on with Sean Hannity tonight where he discussed the Democrats' push to pass a Health Care Bill in the Senate by Christmas. Certain folks note that Howard Dean said on Olbermann's program last night, "This is basically the Mitt Romney bill in Massachusetts, except it doesn't insure as many people." Note that this is Dean criticizing the bill. There was quite a bit of back-and-forth yesterday on whether this revised, revised, revised version of health care is now essentially the plan signed into law by Romney. Phil Klein of the American Spectator contends: What...
