And yesterday's meltdown at the Australian Open isn't doing Daly's rep any good. The golfer, currently ranked 666 in the world, abandoned the tournament after a disastrous showing on the 11th hole, storming off the course with girlfriend Anna Cladakis and his son.

Cladakis, who is the promotional director for Hooters and who is always by Daly's side in matching outfits, also made headlines during their storm off after she allegedly pushed a photographer on their way out. Daly commented, "he ran into her and hit her in the head to try and get a shot, uncool."

Daly, who has been dubbed "wild thing" thanks to his erratic behavior and sportsmanship, shanked as series of shots into the water, enough to use up all the balls in his bag. Already seven over at the time of the 11th hole crumble, Daly picked up his things, said goodbye to his playing partners, and took off.

Insulted by Daly's behavior, the PGA of Australia acted quickly, rescinding his invitation to play at another Aussie event and possibly banning him from all future Australian Opens altogether. Discipline is nothing new to Daly, who was suspended by the US PGA in 2008 for "conduct detrimental to the game's image" (i.e. getting wasted outside a Hooters while still on the PGA tour).

Officials of the Open believe the gentleman's game of golf has no room for someone like Daly given his behavior at the tournament, but Daly sees it as an overreaction and tweeted, "When u run out of balls u run out of balls. yes, I shook my partners hands & signed my card w/rules official."
