X-rated sex, drug abuse and risque’ language are said to be the theme of “Anna Nicole – The Opera” with the tag line, “the party always ends”. The Royal Opera House website says after all, “they were ingredients in a life that went from the dubious glamour of the sex symbol, through long and vicious legal struggles to a fatal overdose.”
Attempts to access the ROH website on the first days tickets were on sale were futile. At one time they had almost 1700 people “queued” and waiting to purchase tickets on the “Anna Nicole” page.
Since it appears that this show might be a hit and also controversial, sources say they are wary of possible litigation from Howard K. Stern, “the lawyer whose conviction for supplying the drugs that killed Anna Nicole was overturned in Los Angeles earlier this month.”
