Anne Bancroft’s classic 1967 film The Graduate also had a stage version with Hollywood actress Kathleen Turner playing as Mrs. Robinson. If Bancroft slowly removing her stockings as she teases young Hoffman has already built tension then, the modern production will now have Turner emerging from a shower, dropping her towel on the floor and exposing her naked body.

Well, times and people have changed. What’s sexy during Anne Bancroft’s time might no longer work today. As for Turner, being naked on stage or onscreen makes no difference.
