He carried on to make the antique paper doll collections well to the twentieth century. During the beginning, having paper dolls was a privilege and just the kids of the Royalty could actually have them. There were dolls representing actors from the theater, stage, opera as well as television. The time when the vintage paper dolls were the most popular had been throughout the 1930's to the 1950's. This could be called the "Golden Age of Paper Dolls." Paper toys were probably the most affordable toys to possess during the depression even though it was of a lesser quality of paper, because of the WWII.
