Real Exorcism – Anneliese Michel Tapes Are They Fake?

Real exorcism – Anneliese Michel tapes are they fake? I watched the The Exorcism of Emily Rose back in 2005 and became curious about whether or not this woman was actually possessed. Such stories as these need to be carefully examined and one should never jump to conclusions.

According to different reports, I was able to find that Anneliese Michel began suffering from convulsions in 1968. At one point she was experiencing demonic hallucinations and she also started hearing voices, which had told her she was damned.

According to the washingtonpost.com, Anneliese Michel’s family gave up on having doctors assist them and chose to get an exorcism performed to release the daughter from the hellish bondage of the devil.

According to the telegraph.co.uk her symptoms were extremely similar to schizophrenia and could have possibly been treated. Was this a case of misinformation? Did the family only choice have to be an exorcism? Cases like this are hard to believe you were never there and how many exorcisms were actually medical conditions, it could have been treated?

“I know that we did the right thing because I saw the sign of Christ in her hands. She was bearing stigmata and that was a sign from God that we should exorcise the demons. She died to save other lost souls, to atone for their sins.” – Anna Michel (Anneliese’s mother, 2005)

“Anneliese was convinced that she had been possessed by several demons, including Lucifer, Judas Iscariot, Nero, Cain, Hitler, and Fleischmann, a disgraced Frankish Priest from the 16th century. She also mentioned a few other damned souls who had manifested themselves through her.” – moviesonline.ca

Anneliese Michel Died on July 1, 1976 and her cause of death was believed to be the result of dehydration and malnourishment. This story has more questions then solid answers and with so many articles on this topic, it can be a daunting task reading through it all. A new DVD came out in 2010 called “Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes” and it looks like another film to entice the masses.

Most who are skeptical about the exorcism of Anneliese Michel want to get their hands on the so-called tapes, which sounds more like a publicity stunt than anything else. This young woman possibly went through dozens of exorcisms back in the 1970s. Was she having seizures or was she possessed by demons? “Anneliese: The Exorcist Tapes” states on the DVD that it delivers the most famous possession captured on film. I might be worth a watch if you dare!
