Annette Sharp, Aussie Gossip Columnist, Is Challenged by Russell Crowe

Don't Miss: Russell Crowe, who is known for his short temper, got a little peeved when Aussie gossip columnist Annette Sharp mocked the star for having a three-taco and cigarette break while on a bike ride with his trainer.
Crowe probably skipped his normal smoke break while biking with Sharp (TMZ)According to nj.com, Crowe sent Sharp a message through his spokesman, challenging the writer to go on a bike ride with him and asking her if she was "ready to die." We can only assume that by "die" the star meant "get embarassed trying to keep up with my mad biking skills," because that's pretty much what happened. Sharp joined Crowe for a 12-mile ride through Sydney and struggled to keep up, even falling down at one point.
But instead of throwing a phone at her while she was down, the star was chivalrous and informed the writer that she was "twice the man [Australian director] Baz is." At least the actor proved that he can be nice while he's humiliating you.
