Let’s hear it for local heroes! The Abingdon Volunteer Fire Company says it rescued 11 ducklings from a Havre de Grace storm drain this week. The trapped ducklings were found in a drain near the Emmorton Business Park. Emergency personnel rescued the ducklings, then released the whole lot into a nearby pond. Police in Havre de Grace are asking for the public’s help after a burglary suspect was caught on tape breaking into a home in two separate occasions. On April 17 and again on April 20, a homeowner in the 4000 block of Wilkinson Road reported to police their home had been broken into and personal property had been stolen.
