The lead group of cyclists ride along the 153.5km course in stage four of the Tour de France on July 7, 2010 in Reims, France. A relatively flat stage, the route featured only one category four climb. Italian Alessandro Petacchi with the Lampre team won the stage in a sprint finish. Swiss rider Fabian Cancellara of team Saxo Bank has kept hold of the yellow jersey while Lance Armstrong sits in 18th place overall. Sprinters bid for the finish line in Stage 4. (Getty Images)Stage 4 of the 2010 Tour de France was a 94 mile ride through France that ended in Reims. Anthony Geslin competed the ride in 03:34:55. He ranked #98 for the stage. The day's winner was Alessandro Petacchi.
At the end of Stage 4,
Anthony Geslin now ranks #163 in the overall general classification. His current GC time is 18:49:22 and he has a total gap of 00:20:27 from Fabian Cancellara. Cancellara currently holds the yellow jersey, followed by Geraint Thomas in second and Cadel Evans in third.
Anthony Geslin is competing for Française des Jeux. Tomorrow's stage 5 takes the tour from Epernay to Montargis and covers 187 kilometers of riding.
