A feature film adaptation of the Shakespearean tragedy " King Lear" has been canceled reportedly due to the economic crunch. Sir Ant hony Hopkins and three top Hollywood actresses would have played the lead roles. Hopkins was due to play the titular character. This new trailer for The Wolfman seems to denote a swift demographic change. In previous trailers and clips, there was a more gothic presentation, more in line with the traditional story. But this latest look definitely rocks out.

Earlier this month I posted the story that The Wolfman had been pushed back to February of next year. Well now they’ve released a trailer and I think it will be worth the wait.

While the first Wolfman trailer gave a pretty detailed outlining of the story of the upcoming film, this newest one seems more intent on showing Benicio del Toro gettin' his wolf on to hard rock. Not that there's anything wrong with that... it is a pretty awesome looking trailer. I'm personally still really on the fence about this one. Watch the trailer below and let me know what you think! The Wolfman is due out February 12, 2010.
