And the wait continues. Red Hot Chili Peppers fans have been waiting a while to hear the band play songs from their latest release, I’m With You. Unfortunately, they recently learned that they would have to wait a little bit longer.
The band announced on Wednesday that it had no choice but to reschedule the previously announced dates for it’s U.S. tour due to foot injuries suffered by singer Anthony Kiedis. According to the statement, Kiedis, 49, recently underwent surgery to remove a crushed bone and correct a detached flexor tendon in hi foot. They suspect that he will make a full recovery, but until then a series of shows that were supposed to kick off on January 20 have now been postponed to late March and April. This probably wasn’t pleasing to their fans ears, but the wait will be worthwhile. Nothing’s worse than seeing an injured singer performing under their potential. Get well soon Anthony. The fans will be able to use their tickets form the postponed shows at the rescheduled shows.
