Demise of the Republican PARTY??
A Republican parting Christmas GIFT for Americans??U.S. Senate Republicans; Abandoning Senate, “leaving sinking ship in droves” Republican Senate FAILED LEGACY Have Come Home to ROOST?
By Marc Chamot
Now Trent Lott then Chuck Hagel, John Warner, and so on these bunch of sour losers and crybabies are leaving the Senate when in reality they left a BIG MESS behind that may take decades to clean up.
While house Republicans stood up to President George Bush’s IDIOTIC schemes, Senate Republicans shamefully stood in single file and bent over to KISS his butt left and right on every issue from the war in Iraq to supporting amnesty for illegal aliens…
The EXODUS is on; on your way out don’t let the door slam you on your rear ends, and good RIDDANCE!
The Republican Senate got what they deserved in this past election; they were thrashed, replaced and rendered useless.
President Bush’s rubber stamp cronies in the Senate forgot about their constituents’ and nation’s wants and needs they thought more about themselves and their corporate allies and cronies.
Since President Bush’s second term Senate Republicans showed their true colors as to why Republicans aren’t trusted with controlling power and why they will never be labor and American people friendly.
Are Democrats on their way to repeat the same travesty? The chaotic China trade imbalance is a prime example of our broken presidency and congress. It does not take an economist to see that a $725.8 billion trade deficit is unsustainable.
The status quo leaves open the very real and immediate danger of several economic catastrophe scenarios:

Hundreds and thousands of American jobs have been diverted to China, most of our toys are made there and there have been tremendous health hazards in the news from items made in China, like pet food, toiletries to chemically contaminated toys.
They showed that they didn’t care about our wages, or immigration, illegal flooding our nation and taking our jobs away. They only support corporate endeavors and taxpayer financed moneys “welfare” for some corporate elites. The Iraqi war was so mismanaged that Bush and the Republicans had taken surplus money from our treasury and amassed the biggest deficit in our history. We are more indebted now to Japan and China than ever, moneys to finance a broken war.
This past Republican leadership has been AWOL and neglectful from their duties in taking care of Americans first! Congress is such a secure environment, with tremendous retirement and medical benefits that Americans would ENVY. Without a doubt a bunch of undeserving slouches have been elected into office that should have never been.

WASHINGTON -- This is crunchtime for members of Congress who must decide whether to seek reelection next year or leave office, and so far Republicans seem to be lunging for the exits. While 16 GOP lawmakers have decided to throw in the towel on their Capitol Hill careers, only two Democrats so far have called it quits -- and they both are seeking higher office.
The disparity underscores the sharply different moods in the two parties: Democrats, still heady from winning control of Congress last year, are enjoying the fruits of power. Republicans, their party in disarray and reduced to minority status in the House and Senate, see more allure in retirement or private life.
