A community portal about Antimatter with blogs, videos, and photos. According to Wikipedia.org: In particle physics, antimatter extends the concept of the antiparticle to matter, wherein if a particle and its antiparticle come into contact with each other, the two annihilate —that is, they may both be converted into other particles with equal energy in accordance with Einstein's equation E = mc 2. This gives rise to high-energy photons or other particle–antiparticle pairs. The resulting particles are endowed with an amount of kinetic energy equal to the difference between the rest mass of the products of the annihilation and the rest mass of the original particle-antiparticle pair, which is often quite large.
Every week, Games On Deck sums up sister iPhone site FingerGaming's top news and reviews for Apple's nascent portable games platform -- this time Pangea's particle arcade game Antimatter, Yoot Saito's (Seaman series) Gabo, and two newly announced titles from Gameloft.
AUSTIN, TX – December 2, 2008 – Pangea Software, Inc., the developer of the award winning puzzle game Enigmo and popular racing title Cro-Mag Rally, announced today that Antimatter, a unique physics based arcade-style game, is now available for the Apple® iPhone™ and iPod® touch.
Blasting a gold target with high-powered lasers creates huge amounts of antimatter, reported scientists from the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory at a conference last week.
Antimatter is also a bit reminiscent of Geometry Wars, a popular game on Xbox Live. Certainly, the space motif is the same. The controls on the game can be ...
Mick Moss and Duncan Patterson of ANTIMATTER and ÍON were interviewed by MetalheadTV.com on November 5, 2008 when ANTIMATTER performed in Bucharest, Romania.
In the early moments of the universe, matter and antimatter existed in near equal amounts, but we now live in a matter-dominated universe. New research attempts to find some of the leftover primordial antimatter.

LIVERMORE, Calif., Nov. 18, 2008 -- More than 100 billion particles of antimatter have been created by using a short-pulse, ultraintense laser to irradiate a gold sample the size of the head of a push pin.
Why is the Universe Made of Matter Rather Than Antimatter ? Physicists are analyzing data from an experiment that tests a theory that won a share of this year's Nobel Prize in Physics and explains why the ...

Antimatter's great attraction from a propulsion standpoint is the ability to convert 100 percent of its mass into energy, a reaction impossible with fission or fusion methods.
