Just what is design, really? It’s been a mysterious science since Day One.
As the saying goes ‘it’s all in the details’. Every aspect, no matter how big or small, makes or breaks a design, or for that matter the beauty of an object. We can’t explain why we perceive something as better looking - among a sea of bad imitations - if it’s made in a certain manner.

Oh my goodness. My visit to Wit's End Antiques in Henderson, Minnesota turned out to be so much more than I had imagined. Not only is Wit's End filled with gorgeous antiques, but the upstairs still retains remnants of a vaudeville theater!

It's true. I don't collect antiques, but there are two very good reasons why. I can't afford them, and I have no place to put them. However, I love going along with Melanie to hunt for them. I like the earthy, almost spiritual feeling of a building filled with items carrying their own special history.
