Vernon Davis Hosts Positive Choices 7th Annual Non-Contact Instructional Football Camp

Positive Choices Inc. (PCI), an organization designed to provide under-served youth with keys to success, is gearing-up for its Seventh Annual Non-Contact Instructional Football Camp in Washington, DC on Saturday, June 13 at Dunbar High School (1301 New Jersey Avenue, NW).

Both National Football League (NFL), Collegiate and Retired NFL players will come together for one day to mentor and coach more than 300 participating children on football techniques, healthy nutrition and positive life decisions.

Participants will receive seven hours of one-on-one instruction from participating athletes. Along with the football camp, nine students will be recognized for receiving athletic scholarships to attend various colleges and universities.

Notable guests and participants include: Professional football players Mark Bradley (Chicago Bears), Antoine Bethea (Indianapolis Colts), Prescott Burgess (Baltimore Ravens), Vernon Davis (San Francisco 49ers), Laron Landry (Washington Redskins), Charles Godfrey (Carolina Panthers), Matt Gutierrez (New England Patriots), Jameel McClain (Baltimore Ravens), Greg Toler (Arizona Cardinals) Kelvin Hayden (Indianapolis Colts), Ed Johnson (Indianapolis Colts), Jeff Webb (Kansas City Chiefs), Pierre Woods (New England Patriots),Garrett Wolfe (Chicago
Bears) Jason Avant (Philadelphia Eagles) and many more.

Positive Choices Inc. is a Washington DC based non-profit organization established in 2003 to provide a safe and structured environment for underserved youth. PCI focuses on the social-emotional, academic and physical development of all young people. PCI strives to service our youth by providing a variety of programs ranging from sports and fitness camps, male and female mentoring, college and career exploration, academic support and individual/group counseling.

Aazaar Abdul-Rahim, founder and CEO, is a native Washingtonian and graduate of Dunbar High School and former collegiate football athlete at San Diego State University and holds a Master of Arts degree in Educational Counseling.
