The Colts announced this afternoon that they have signed Pro Bowl safety Antoine Bethea to a new long-term contract.
The deal is reportedly worth $27 million over the next four seasons.
“It feels really good”, Bethea said. “I’m just thankful to the Colts organization, Mr. Irsay (Colts owner Jim Irsay), and my representatives for getting it done for me. Today is a great day for me and my family.”
A late-round draft choice in 2006, Bethea has rapidly developed into an elite NFL player, and was named to his second Pro Bowl in 2009.
Congratulations to Antoine Bethea on his new deal with the Colts!
