A pirate picture that's entirely too late to the party to have much in the line of fresh pirate gags, it is stuffed with name voice actors, from Hugh Grant as The Pirate Captain to Salma Hayek, Brendan Gleeson, Imelda Stanton, Anton Yelchin and Jeremy Piven.  

The pair will join Christina Ricci, whose casting was announced this morning, and returning cast members Patrick Harris, Hank Azaria, Jayma Mays, Sofia Vergara, Anton Yelchin and Alan Cumming. The first installment's helmer Raja Gosnell will return to direct.  

In addition, Katy Perry, Alan Cumming, George Lopez and Anton Yelchin will return to provide the voices of their respective characters, along with Christina Ricci. Like the original film, the sequel will combine animation and real images using 3D technology.  

Cast members that are returning for the sequel include Harris, Mays, Sofia Vergara, Hank Azaria, Katy Perry, Jonathan Winters, Alan Cumming, Fred Armisen, George Lopez, Anton Yelchin and John Oliver. Smoove is currently starring in the NBC series “Bent.”

"Star Trek 2" stars Chris Pine, Zoe Saldana, Benedict Cumberbatch, Zachary Quinto, Simon Pegg, Anton Yelchin, Karl Urban, John Cho and Alice Eve. The film is expected to be in theaters May 17, 2013.
