Zune is better
The 8gb Zune is so much better than this. If you have owned a nano within the last 5 years you have already used this IPOD nano anyhow. Apple changed the design to a short wide model then back to this one with "WOW! round edges"!! Lets go buy one! With the functionality and ease of use of an 8GB Zune I would never go back to IPOD, it would be like downgrading an OS from Vista to windows 3.1 in the visual aspect. Plus the Zune just has more features like WOW I can change the damn background and no stupid round circle click wheel from hell. Sorry Apple, re-distrobuting an old model and still chargeing the same price is lame. Zune is better for the money.

Great Product
I have had the iPod nano 4G for nearly two months now. It is a great product. This is my first iPod and am very satisfied with it. Great sound quality and LCD screen. They have had an update a while which allows you to turn coverflow off if you don't want it on. I find it great for running, small and compact. Many reviews give the battery a poor rating, while I tend to give it an 'average.' It seems to lose a lot of 'juice' just sitting around for a few days, but you are able to listen several times before needing to recharge it. I would say that the battery works perfectly fine for someone wanting it for normal use. However, I have found that the LCD screen can really drain the battery. And as far as compatibility with 'non-apple' or 3rd party charging accessories, I have not used any of them. Overall, it is a great iPod!

apple ipod 8 gb blue
great new version of the ipod. the large screen makes it so much easier to see everything.

My first ipod; used for working out
Received this ipod for my birthday. SO far this has been great for working out. The shake to shuffle feature is very annoying and will drive you nuts when lifting/running luckily the feature is very easy to shut off in the settings menu. Besides that, it is very small and light(make sure to get a case). The battery life has been great for me but I only use it for music/podcasts. Itunes was not as user friendly as I expected but luckily I am a little tech savvy and used the help menu. Also, the genius feature was not very useful for me. Lastly, though the headphones were adequate playing back the music, they are very loose in my adult sized ears. All in all this is a great purchase for my needs.

Great Product!
I bought a yellow 4th generation nano a few months ago, and I'm VERY happy with it. The shipping was decent, didn't take too long. The yellow color looks gold from some angles, but I like it. The accelerometer doesn't seem to do what it is supposed to. They advertised that shaking your ipod will make it shuffle to a different song, but I've only been able to do that once, and I've tried a lot. That feature isn't really that useful though, so I don't mind. The design is great, the features are great. I recommend this product.
