Bananas.for.Borges. my accidental run-in with a literary Genius

EnglishJorge Luis Borges was an Argentine writer, literary critic, and librarian who lived the majority of his life in Switzerland. Borges authored of 40 works and was awarded an international publishers prize Prix Formentor in 1961. I discovered Borges the latter part of 2008, while browsing thru the suggested readings section at the library. Shakespeares Memory and The Book of Sand was the selection that caught my eye. What an excellent source of verbal nutrition. The book was so good I read it in 2 days! An excerpt for the tasting...
