Special massage offer for Breast Cancer 3-Day walkers at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa

Nothing better than a deep tissue massage after extensive exercise, right? And after the dedication, training, fund-raising efforts and 60-mile odyssey, walkers in the 2009 Arizona Breast Cancer 3-Day will likely be hankering for a good rubdown.

The folks at Revive Spa are doing their part to support walkers by offering specially priced massage therapy services the day after the event. On Monday, Nov. 16, participants who show their 3-Day bib numbers can spend the day recouping with a 50-minute Swedish or therapeutic massage for a special discounted rate of $79 (regularly $125).

Located at JW Marriott Desert Ridge Resort & Spa in northeast Phoenix, Revive Spa is 28,000-square-foot retreat complete with a fitness center, salon, pool and cafe. Any service booked at the spa includes a full day's access to amenities that include private men's and women's steam rooms, saunas, whirlpools and lounging areas.

Now in its sixth year in Arizona, the Breast Cancer 3-Day event runs Nov. 13-15 to raise funds for and awareness of breast cancer. Each walker commits to raising a minimum of $2,300, which goes to Susan G. Komen for the Cure and the National Philanthropic Trust Breast Cancer Fund. More at the3day.org.
