The Giants had their first interleague series of the 2012 season this weekend as they played host to their cross bay rival Oakland Athletics. Angel Pagan of the San Francisco Giants started the regular season by hitting .111 over his first seven games. From there, he proceeded to embody Pablo Sandoval and start hitting consistently. After his two-hit performance on May 6, he is now on a career-high 20-game hitting streak.  

When Pablo Sandoval suffered a broken hamate bone recently, the San Francisco Giants chose Conor Gillaspie as his replacement.
