Tsunami to complete his move to Arminia Bielefeld on Monday

Zambia international striker Christopher ‘Tsunami’ Katongo will finally complete his move to Bundesliga side, Arminia Bielefeld on Monday from Brondby IFof Denmark.

According to Kicker, the 25 year old will undergo medicals on Monday and if he passes, the former Green Buffaloes and Jomo Cosmos striker will sign a three year deal.

It is believed Bielefeld will pay 1.5 million euros for his services.The burly but short striker can also operate on both flanks as well central midfield.

Last season he scored five goals in 27 appearances in the league plus five other goals coming in from cup games.

At international level he has scored three goals in his last five games for Zambia.

Katongo joined Brondby in Janaury 2007 from Jomo Cosmos of South Africa.

Bielefeld, who just staved off relegation last season, open their Bundesliga campaign at home to Werder Bremen on August 16.
