I see Coach Curry took my advice and put 'Dyess in the starting line-up. That was a smart move. However, he needs to make one more move to make this team better, and that is, put Rodney Stuckey back on the bench. Sure, Stuckey had a couple of great games scoring 30 and 40 points as a starter, but a couple of great games doesn't make the Pistons a better team. Lately, Rodney Stuckey has been invisible. I don't believe he's quit ready to be a starter in this league. Like Amir Johnson, I believe he's more comfortable coming off the bench for now. ... Read Full Story

The Cavaliers dominated the Pistons in the first half Wednesday night. The second half however a was different story. Arron Afflalo gave the Pistons a much needed spark. Like the Veteran ex-Piston Lindsay Hunter, Afflalo's energy is just incredible. With the help of Arron Afflalo, the Pistons came alive in the second half, ambushed the Cav's and whipped the pants off of them. Rasheed Wallace knocked down some three's and the rest is history. The old Pistons team, did not have anyone who can penetrate and attack the paint, now they have four. With the addition of Allen Iverson, Will Bynum, Rodney Stuckey, and ... Read Full Story

The Pistons Rookies and youngsters were great in the game against the Heat last night. I am so proud of them. Arron Afflalo who filled in for Rip Hamilton ( bruised hip ) was great. I think he played his best game so far last night against the Heat. He's really shown his maturity and he seems to have really grown as a player. I'm very excited about that. He did a great job defensively against Rickie Davis, tapped in a missed shot and even had a nice two handed dunk that resulted in a three point play. Arron finished with 15 points, 7 ... Arron Afflalo was inserted into the Denver Nuggets starting lineup back on November 10th and hasn't been removed since. Despite his starting status, he is averaging about three fewer minutes per game than J.R. Smith at the shooting guard position. George Karl loves to have Smith come off...

During the 2009 offseason, almost every contender in the wild Western Conference improved through free agency, and it seemed the Denver Nuggets stood pat. The World Champion Lakers got All-Star Ron Artest from the Rockets. The aging Spurs added an older Richard Jefferson. And in the Nuggets’ Northwest division, the Trailblazers picked up ex-Nugget Andre Miller, although he’s underutilized as of now. What did Denver do in response? They started...
