"Chihuly: Through the Looking Glass" recently on view at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts was a spectacular arrangement of Chihuly's most inventive glass sculptures.   Some of the artworks were new, but most of the installations were reconfigurations of the 2008 exhibit "Chihuly at the De Young Museum."  The nine environments, theatrically staged throughout the Gund Gallery, were for the most part, a visual feast for the eyes. Cedarhurst Center for the Arts , located about an hour and a half from St. Louis, Missouri, is tucked among an arcadian residential neighborhood in Mount Vernon, Illinois. Due to its unassuming surroundings, its not the easiest place to find. Before we get our brushes wet let's talk a little about painting. As you can see by the photo, I have an area in my shop devoted completely to painting.
