In my hectic college days of working and studying, I discovered the appealing paintings and illustrations of Maxfield Parrish. I wished I could step into one of the idyllic scenes, don a classic, flowing robe, forget my worries and lounge under a spreading oak or beside a beautiful blue pool. When you see some of his paintings, you'll understand. Blue is my favorite color and I thought the blues in his paintings were absolutely wonderous! Maxfield Parrish was the first artist to capture my attention and my imagination.
