Ashlee Nicole Simpson (born October 3, 1984) is an American pop rock singer–songwriter and actress, and the younger sister of pop singer Jessica Simpson. She starred on "The Ashlee Simpson Show," an MTV reality show that followed her rise to stardom. Her first album "Pieces of Me" went platinum, but her credibility as a performer took a huge hit when it became apparent she was lip-synching on SNL. If Star's latest claims about Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz are true, the writers of the upcoming Melrose Place remake are going to have to write a pregnancy into their first season's plotline.
Star Magazine (via AceShowbiz) reports Ashlee Simpson, who is currently filming a role on Melrose Place, is pregnant with her second child. As was the case with her first pregnancy (son Bronx Mowgli was born November 20), Ashlee will reportedly keep the pregnancy under wraps until she reaches her third trimester.
According to AceShowbiz, another tabloid has claimed that Ashlee hopes a second child will ease tensions between her and her husband. The couple's rep has not commented on either report.
