Fashion Week Spring 2009–Verrier

Ashleigh Verrier is totally adorable and so is her Spring 2009 Collection. Very whimsical and feminine, this collection was inspired by fairy tales and their balance of light and dark. This show was fairly different from others seen at Bryant Park this Fashion Week, using more colors and tighter silhouettes. Here’s what I saw:

pink, gray, black, orange, baby blue
pink paired with cranberry
satins
metallics
applique
high-waisted skirts
flowy dresses
a white cocktail dress (of course)
high waisted shorts
cropped pants
