Former Gov. Eliot Spitzer will not be charged with any crime for patronizing a high-priced prostitution ring, federal prosecutors announced on Thursday. The announcement was made by the office of Michael J. Garcia, the United States attorney in Manhattan. Don’t ask me why, but I am still fascinated by the whole Eliot Spitzer-Ashley Dupré scandal from last year - it’s been more than a year and a half since it broke, and I’m still interested in hearing more about these people. I think I’m captivated by the players because the scandal didn’t over-stay its welcome. The whole thing - from the outing of “Client Number Nine” to Gov. Spitzer’s resignation, the whole ordeal only took a week. It was a really fun week, gossip-wise, but I’d still like to know more about all of the players, from Eliot Spitzer, to Silda Spitzer, to ... Girls Gone Wild” founder Joe Francis tells "The Tyra Banks Show" that he doesn’t believe his good pal Lindsay Lohan is a lesbian. Although he doesn't offer up any proof, like a video, darn it. And he really doesn’t like Samantha Ronson at all: “I care about Lindsay … she’s not gay. She’s being controlled by this like, who I think is a wretched woman, this Samantha Ronson.” Apparently, Sam is jealous of Joe? “I just had this whole conflict with Samantha Ronson the other day, where she’s very jealous. … Samantha tried to start a fight with me.” And he says Lindsay is ... Eliot Spitzer is very aware that everything he does could be fodder for a joke or a snide comment about his prostitution scandal, from the pulling on of his ritual black socks in the morning to the conference for which he recently traveled to London (Title: "Realigning the moral compass of the boardroom") to the fact that he asked the hotel where he met a reporter if they kept a guest log, since he remembered staying there a few years ago...
