Gator Uses Dead Girl's Credit Card for 6 Months

According to the Gainesville Sun, University of Florida football player Jamar Hornsby turned himself in on charges of credit card theft and fraudulent use of a credit card that belonged to the late Ashley Slonina.

On October 12, 2007, Slonina was on the back of her boyfriend’s (also a Gator football player) motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed when their Kawasaki hit a median. Neither survived and neither were wearing helmets. These two facts are probably related.

There aren’t special charges for using a dead person’s credit card but court records show that the alleged abuse started on October 13, also known as the day right after Ashley was killed.
