The Utah Court of Appeals on Thursday upheld a Springville man’s ninth drunken driving conviction. Robert Van Dyke, who killed a woman in a prior DUI crash, had appealed his April 2008 conviction for DUI, arguing that the officer who stopped him lacked the requisite cause to do so. A man with nine DUI convictions, including one fatal accident, is appealing the latest jury verdict because he says the arresting officer did not have reasonable suspicion to pull him over. Can't blame a girl for trying. Ashley Van Dyke, known (by the very few that know her) as the host of "Speed TV," was busted in Hollywood for DUI last night.
