Can't blame a girl for trying. Ashley Van Dyke, known (by the very few that know her) as the host of "Speed TV," was busted in Hollywood for DUI last night. After the officer pulled her out of the car, the gearhead gal offered up this defense: "But I'm a race car driver!"

It should be noted that Van Dyke was telling the truth: she has driven race cars before, even placing in the top 10 during the 2006 Bullrun race. However, the officer still administered a field sobriety test, which Van Dyke failed miserably, and was taken downtown for booking.
