Etihad Airways today announced it would support the Indian Bollywood film ‘My name is Khan,’ -in association with Fox Star Studios, Twentieth Century Fox International, Imagenation Abu Dhabi and Empire International - flying in the film’s major stars Kajol Devgan and Shah Rukh Khan, the film’s Director Karan Johar, and additional members of the cast and crew to Abu Dhabi for the movie’s worldwide premiere on Wednesday. Etihad’s television commercial and branding will appear at the film premiere, and the airline will run a competition for members of its Loyalty program, Etihad Guest, offering two lucky couples the chance to meet the film’s stars. ... "A year ago, lenders were sitting on their hands," said Jason Sklar, VP of the entertainment industries group at J.P. Morgan. "The lender universe will expand in the next year or two." US movie paper The Hollywood Reporter informs today: Songwriter-producer Dave Stewart has teamed with Ashok Amritraj’s Hyde Park Entertainment and Imagenation Abu Dhabi through the pair’s newly created strategic alliance with Media Development Authority of Singapore to make “Street Dancing.” Stewart will team with Oscar winner A.R. Rahman (”Slumdog Millionaire”) to pen the movie’s score, billed as an against-all-odds story set in the world of dance competitions held in Singapore and New York.
