Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty arrived in Albert Lea on Friday to assess damage, meet with local officials and take questions from the media.
Governor arrived at the Albert Lea Municipal Airport at 2:30 pm on Friday evening, and flew directly from a tour of hurricane damage in the area of Wadena. It was scheduled to meet with the media, at 4:00
Pawlenty flew to Albert Lea in a plane belonging to the Ministry of Transport and Minnesota, but took a helicopter in the Minnesota state patrol.
