He wasn't a smoker, he adored the Kennedy's and he was a Liberal so how did he deserve to be the subject of the first post here in Ashtray Heaven? Arthur M. Schlesinger Jr., the Pulitzer Prize-winning historian and "court philosopher" of the Kennedy administration. Schlesinger was dining with family members in Manhattan on Wednesday when he suffered a heart attack, his son Stephen said. He died at New York Downtown Hospital. I haven't been able to collect over 7,000 ashtrays all by myself. I have a pack of ashtray hounds who are always on the lookout for me. Some do it for praise, others for barter, and one actually steals them for me. I don't condone her method but I do applaud her for it.
