Assud The Bunny

Assud is the third character to appear on the children's program after his Mickey Mouse-esque predecessor "Farfour" was shown being beaten to death by Israeli soldiers after it provoked outcry in Israel and was condemned elsewhere as inciting hatred among the young . Farfour was followed by Nahul the bee who was shown being killed a week later when an Israeli siege prevented him from receiving medical treatment. The show, which was last broadcast on Friday, featured criticism of the Danish media following the recent republication of cartoons of the Prophet Mohammad.
